We read IP's. IP's are primarily used for tracking and security. Tracking is pretty standard on just about every website and one of the things that gets tracked is an IP address. This allows us to know how much traffic our site has and how our site is being used. In addition, any attempts to perform malicious activity to this site is reported immediately by IP. This allows us to block or ban IP addresses of those who attempt to perform malicious activity. In addition, we will work with ISPs, law enforcement, and government agencies and provide IPs of malicious users and spammers if deemed necessary.
